Mayo Clinic Health Systems reaches out for troops

Kindness Counts Challenge – Austin Campus, a Mayo Clinic Health Systems enterprise initiative, held a donation drive for care packages for Minnesota troops deployed overseas.
Various items collected including potato chips, note pads, pencils, pens, toiletries, ramen noodles, sweet treats, Frisbees, puzzle books, magazines, books, decks of cards and much more. Items were donated by many departments and staff.
All departments were invited to participate.
Lisa Haase, Finance, is a Well-Being Champion and lead the donation drive.
Wayne Madson, Mower County Veteran Service Officer will coordinate with the local National Guard Army Readiness Group to have the items sent to MN deployed soldiers.
