The Hayfield football team beat Winona Cotter (0-5 overall) by a score of 41-0 in Winona Friday.

Ethan Slaathaug had an interception and 75 yard return to set up a 10-yard TD pass from Brady Nelson to Luke Dudycha to put the Vikings (3-2 overall) up 20-0 with 4:49 left in the first half.

The Vikings iced the game in the second half when Carter Kyllo spurted for a 58-yard score and Karver Heydt had a three-yard TD burst.

Dawson Andrew had a two-yard TD run that made it 14-0.
