Donations are requested, beginning Sept. 23, for the Friends of the Library book sale at the library. Magazines, Readers Digest books, VHS tapes and encyclopedias will not be accepted.

The sale itself begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, for Friends of the Library members. A yearly membership may be purchased at the sale for $10 for the whole family, which includes several benefits.

The sale for the public is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 4-5.
