The Grand Meadow volleyball team started the season strong as it bested Lanesboro (0-1 overall, 0-1 SEC) by scores of 26-24, 20-25, 26-24, 25-21 in Lanesboro Thursday.

Hailey Hindt hammered down 15 kills and tallied eight digs for GM (1-0 overall, 1-0 SEC) and Riley Queensland had 15 kills and 10 digs.
