Upcoming trips

•Sept. 14: Yearly riverboat cruise with the Paddleford Boat Company in St. Paul. We will have a four-hour cruise and tour through Lock and Dam No. 1. There will be jazz music and a buffet lunch. We will depart from Austin at  8 a.m. with a return time by 6 p.m. The fee for this trip is also due on Aug. 12.

•Aug. 20: Annual Mystery Trip. You may check back to see if there are any late cancellations.  Departure time is 8 a.m. with a return time of 6 p.m.

•Sept. 28: Warrens Cranberry Festival in Warrens, Wisconsin, back by popular demand. This festival is one of the top fall festivals in the country. We will be departing at 7 a.m. with a rest-stop en route. Return time will be approximately 7:30 p.m., with time allowed for a dinner stop. Features over 850 arts and crafts and 350 flea market booths.

You may also purchase fresh produce from the 100 farmers market vendors. Cranberries will be available in many ways including deep-fried on a stick, cream puffs, wine and candies.

This is not a yearly trip but with special occasion, as the village of Warrens is celebrating 150  years with many special activities. We just chose this year to be apart of it.

This small community and displays have made shopping and the cranberry tour very accessible.  It promises to be a fun day for all. Join us.

Our travel hours are from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, at the Mower County Senior Center.
