WANTED: PROJECT MANAGERS

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a custom job.  Key aspects include confirming scope of work, building and maintaining a critical path schedule, holding hand-off meetings, ordering all materials especially long lead and specialty items early, identifying and submitting change orders, coordinate installers, and exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Specifically, the Project Manager will:

  • Deliver every job on-time
  • Take field measurements if necessary
  • Source specialty materials/processes as required
  • Provide detailed product schedules with critical milestones
  • Coordinate between Company, General Contractor and Architect
  • Expand Supplier base to include needed subcontractors/installers
  • Attend subcontractor meetings as required and document necessary information
  • Request and coordinate samples for submittals in conjunction with engineering and production
  • Minimize and Negotiate Change Orders F
  • ormulate Requests for Information (RFI) Communicate in a professional manner with all Company
    management/employees

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Able to read and understand blueprints
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Strong listening skills and proven ability to be a team player
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Documented Planning Skills: Experience developing and managing Project Plans, preparing Timelines/Critical Path, and Coordinating with Production
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with Project and Scheduling technologies very helpful.
  • Able to maintain proficiency with current and changing technologies
  • Able to effectively communicate with Architects, Designers, General Contractors, Vendors and Subcontractors in a professional manner
  • Able to travel with short notice (Mostly day trips)
  • Experience taking field measurements
  • Experience formulating RFI’s
  • Ensure adherence to contract specifications
  • Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance at all times
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
  • Experienced in high-end commercial architectural millwork
  • Ability to drive projects to conclusion on time and on budget while maintaining the standard of quality required by the Company
