Diane Medgaarden Nelson, 73, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at home.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Nelson; daughter, Maridee Dangcil (Tommy); son, Mark Nelson (Kelly); three grandchildren, Darla Dangcil, Holland and Grant Nelson; siblings, Judy Laskewitz (David), Glenn (Judy) Medgaarden, Ruth Erickson, Gary (Jan) Medgaarden, Mary (John) Fraser, Lynne Medgaarden (Russ Scott) and Jon Medgaarden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019,  at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 2914 W. 44th St. in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour before Mass on Friday at the church.  Memorials are preferred to Gilda’s Club Twin Cities, www.gildasclubtwincities.org.
