The LeRoy-Ostrander volleyball team came storming back against Dover-Eyota, but he Cardinals couldn’t finish off a big comeback as they lost by scores of 25-19, 25-14, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12 in Dover Tuesday.

Sophomore Sidney Lewison had six kills and seven digs for LO (0-2 overall) and sophomore Samantha Volkart had seven kills and four blocks.

“We played really well,” LO head coach Lindsay Milks said. “We came back in the third and fourth games with a lot of energy and we had a lot of quality touches from our middle hitters. It’s tough to lose in five, but we battled the whole time.”
