Blooming Prairie comes out with a statement

The Blooming Prairie Blossoms got off to a big start in 2019 with a statement win over Rushford-Peterson 46-0 in Rushford.

Kaden Thomas was 12-for-15 with 171 yards and four touchdowns. Three of those went to Gabe Hagen who caught eight passes for 82 yards.

“It’s a great way to start,” said head coach Chad Gimbel. “I was very happy with the way we played. The one thing that was a negative was ball security.”

Blooming Prairie lost three fumbles on the night, but the defense held Rushford-Peterson to jsust 152 total yards while BP totaled 485 total yards.
