Sacred Heart rallies past Hayfield at state baseball tournmanet

The No. 3 seeded Hayfield baseball team opened up state tournament play with a 10-6 loss to Sacred Heart (14-8 overall) in the Minnesota Class A Quarterfinals in Hayfield Thursday.
Hayfield (22-3 overall) tied the game at 2-2 when it scored on a throwing error by the Eagles.
Sacred Heart responded by putting up four runs in the sixth and seventh innings to put the game out of reach.

Hayfield will take on South Ridge in a consolation game at Chaska at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
