Hayfield baseball team rained out in Section 1A Finals

The Hayfield baseball team will have to find some offense if it wants to earn its first trip to state in program history.
The Vikings were trailing Spring Grove 4-0 in the third inning when the Section 1A finals were postponed due to weather at Seltz Field Tuesday.

Play will resume at 5 p.m. Wednesday. There will be no admission fee.
If Hayfield wins, it will qualify for state. If the Vikings lose, they will get a second game with another chance to get to state.
