Frances Louise “Fran” Larkoski, 91, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Adams Health Care Center.

Fran was born April 26, 1928, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Ellen McDonald. She grew up in Austin and graduated from St. Augustine High School.

On Aug. 20, 1949, she was united in marriage to Allan Larkoski at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.

Fran was a member of St. Augustine Church and St. Augustine Ladies Ancillary. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and knitting. She particularly enjoyed when her grandchildren would come to visit her.

Survivors include her daughters, Julie Potter of Minnetonka, Minnesota, and Ellen (Charley) Wirtz of Tualatin, Oregon; sons, Timothy (Colleen) Larkoski of Diamond Lake, Washington, and Mark (Sandy) Larkoski of Austin; seven grandchildren, Andrew James, Thomas Scott, John, Peter, Joseph, Lauren and Luke; and three brothers, Robert, James and Donald McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ellen McDonald; brothers, Arthur and Charles McDonald; sister, Patricia Patterson; and her husband, Allan.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. James Steffes officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with Mayer Funeral Home.
