According to Victor Baeten, vice president and sales associate for Slaby and Associates, Pet Supplies Plus is looking to hire locals for its new location, which is slated to open in Fall 2019. Slaby and Associates purchased the old Hy-Vee from the Austin Port Authority in July 2018 with the sale closing Aug. 1. Other stores coming to the old Hy-Vee include Marshalls, Five Below, Maurices and Shoe Sensation.

“We will be at the Holiday Inn all day for scheduled interviews from our Indeed.com postings,” Baeten said. “In addition, we will be hosting an open time from 4pm-6pm that folks can come in and meet with Pet Supplies Plus and drop off their résumés for various positions.”
