The Southland softball team lost to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (9-4 overall) 19-5 in Rose Creek Thursday.

The Rebels (0-14 overall) led 5-4 after one inning, but they couldn’t hang on. PEM tacked on nine runs in the top of the seventh inning.
