The Austin boys tennis team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Faribault 6-1 before losing to Waseca 6-1 in Waseca Saturday.

The Packers (1-9 overall, 1-8 Big Nine) swept the three doubles matches to beat the Falcons.

“Evan Anderson probably played his best match of the year against Faribault,” Austin head coach Jeff Anderson said. “Nico Forte and Gavin Owens, and Nathan Meyer and Ryan Stencel continue to get better and played some great doubles.”
