All proceeds from Strides for a Cure are donated to The Hormel Institute to fund breast cancer research. The annual event has raised nearly $19,000 for breast cancer research since it began in 2011.

Funds from Strides for a Cure and other Paint the Town Pink events turn into seed grants for scientists at The Hormel Institute to study innovative ideas to prevent or treat breast cancer. These studies wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community and Paint the Town Pink.

Registration forms for Strides for a Cure are available at https://stridesforacurerace.wordpress.com or you can register the day of the event.
