Wings push Bruins to the brink of elimination

The Austin Bruins officially have their backs to the wall.

No. 4 seeded Austin is now one loss from having its season come to an end after it fell to the Aberdeen Wings 6-2 in game two of the NAHL Central Division semifinals in Aberdeen Saturday.

The Wings scored three goals in the first six minutes of the contest to take control early on.

Kyle McClellan stopped 30 of the 34 shots he saw in net for Austin.

The Bruins now trail the Wings 2-0 in the best-of-five series and they will put their season on the line when they host Aberdeen in Riverside Arena at 7:25 p.m. Friday. Game four would be at 7:25 p.m. in Riverside and game five would be in Aberdeen at 7:15 p.m. Monday.
