I would just like to express my great pleasure having had the opportunity to attend the Taste of Nations event last Saturday. What an amazing thing! Community members from many different places, all age groups, all backgrounds came together to enjoy the riches of many  cultures. I would like to emphasize the use of the word “together”, as it speaks to what our State and “Our Austin” is all about. I am only sorry that Gov. Walz was not able to attend. He would have been very proud. I am very proud to be able to say this is my hometown. Thank you, Austin, for being such a wonderful community to live in.
