Hannah Noel Lager, 24

Hannah was born Dec. 17, 1994, in Austin, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and LeAnn (Arndtson) Vogt. She attended St. Isidore’s Elementary School in Owatonna, Minnesota, and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School. Hannah’s love of the Lord and Catholic faith led her to attend and graduate in 2017 from Benedictine College in Atchison with a triple major in education, Spanish, and theology.

It was at Benedictine that Hannah met the love of her life and future spouse. Hannah and Austin J. Lager were united in marriage on June 16, 2018, in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. She was an active member of St. Benedict Parish in Atchison, where her and Austin settled after marriage.

Hannah served for one year as a teacher at Trinity Catholic High School in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was currently serving as a teacher at the Valley Falls High School and Jefferson County North High School, both in Kansas. There she divided her weekdays as a Spanish instructor. When she was away from the classroom, she liked to read, paint, bake, and spend time with family. When asked, Hannah described herself in one word, “compassionate.” Her favorite quote was,  “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re probably right.”
