Georgia Marie (Kuhl) Underdahl, 81, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus-Rochester.

Georgia was born on May 25, 1937, in Lansing, Minnesota, the oldest child born to Harold and Berniece “Bea” (Taylor) Kuhl. She graduated from Austin High School in 1956 and continued to live in Austin most of her life. She moved to Cannon Falls in 2015.

Georgia married James R. Underdahl on Dec. 27, 1975, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. She loved gardening, doing word search puzzles, and having her popcorn and Diet Coke each day. She also enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen. Her family and her animals were very important to her.

She is survived by her son, Tim Kuhl of Rice, Minnesota; sisters and brother, Karrol (Frank) Frost of Hastings, Minnesota, Kathryn (Gene) Williams of Wyoming, Minnesota, Daniel (Corlean) Kuhl of Sun City West, Arizona, and Shari (Bill) Ekstrom of Cannon Falls; many nieces and nephews; and her stepchildren and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; and stepson, Rick Underdahl.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
