The Austin Bruins picked up a much needed victory as they topped the Bismarck Bobcats (33-21-3-2 overall) 3-0 in Riverside Arena Friday.

Garrett Dahm put the Bruins (32-21-0-6 overall) on the board in the second period and he put Austin up 2-0 with a goal early in the third period. Dahm finished with a hat trick when he scored his 14th goal of the season on an empty netter with 11 seconds left.

Austin will close out the regular season when it hosts the Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. Saturday. With a win in that game, the Bruins would most likely move into the No. 3 seed in the NAHL Central Division playoffs, setting up a first round series with Minot.
