Michael Edward Kos (Mike), 74, of Mesa, Arizona, died Monday, March 11, 2019, after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer.

Mike was born on Dec. 27, 1944, in Austin, Minnesota, to Edward and Viola Kos. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served over 10 years. After his service, he resided in the Mesa area, which became his home.

Mike spent most of his working life in RV sales and won many awards for being a dedicated and valued top salesperson. He was an avid sports fan and golf was his great passion. He also enjoyed music and dancing.

Mike leaves behind his son, David; his stepdaughters, Denise Zacher and Lea Sipione; brothers, Richard (Rich) and Robert (Bob); several step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott; parents; and sister, Linda.

A future memorial service will be planned for later this year at the Veterans Cemetery near Phoenix, Arizona. Memorials are suggested to Sunshine Acres Children Home in Mesa.
