EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Austin, Minnesota (Austin HRA) is accepting applications for the Executive Director position.  The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the full operations of the Austin HRA, including administration of all projects and programs, personnel responsibilities, community development initiatives and will also be responsible for the execution of the goals, objectives and policies adopted by the Board of Commissioners.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Engineering, Urban Studies or related field and a minimum of two years of housing and/or community development related experience preferably in a managerial capacity. The Austin HRA owns and operates 360 units of Public Housing, 160 units of Market Rate housing, administrates 175 Section 8 vouchers and is actively involved in Community Redevelopment.
