Catherine “Kate” Mae Andree, 82, of Mapleview, Minnesota, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin.

Kate was born on March 12, 1937, in Dows, Iowa, to Lyle and Arline (Ford) Williams. She graduated from Adams High School in 1955. She married Robert Andree Sr. on Oct. 22, 1955, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Brownsdale, Minnesota. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bird watching, camping, traveling, and going for daily walks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andree Sr.; son, Allen; grandson, Eric; and brothers-in-law, David Andree and Edward Andree.

Kate is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert (Miriam) Andree, St. Peter, Minnesota, and Barry Andree, Mapleview; daughter, Patsy Koontz, Austin, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, Shannon, April, Trevor, Eric, Chris, Dustin, Crystal, Joseph, Jonathon, Michael, Daniel, and Maggie; 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Lyle “Sonny” (Cheryl) Williams, Austin; brother-in-law, Wayne Andree, Austin; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Andree, Austin, and Jan Andree, Austin; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gemechu Olana officiating. Visitation will be for one hour before the service on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
