First day of spring is March 20 and that means the Austin Community Band will soon begin practicing for their 2019 Summer Concert Season.

The band is currently looking for new members, so if you are interested come to the first practice on Tuesday, April 9. The first concert is on Wednesday, June 12.

Ages range from high school through those in their mid to late 70s. All are welcome as there are no try outs.

The Austin Community Band’s concert season runs from June 12 to the Fourth of July concert at Bandshell Park with other performances including June 19 and June 26. Both practices and concerts are at 7 p.m.
