The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (15-4 overall, 8-3 Gopher) 46-41 in Hayfield Friday.

Elecia Brown paced the Vikings (11-8 overall, 6-5 Gopher) with 17 points.

“It was a big win for us tonight,” Hayfield co-head coach Kasey Krekling said. “We had lost to them by two points earlier this season.”
