Our immensely loved Todd, 28, of Maple Grove, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.
Todd was an adventurous and charismatic man who loved having a good time. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially snowboarding and camping in the mountains of Colorado, where he lived for a few years. He was very musically inclined and a self-taught guitarist. He would really come alive when playing the guitar and singing songs during many family and friend get-togethers. What he couldn’t say to you in his words and actions he could with his favorite songs and lyrics. Music was in a large part his language to the world. Todd, or as many knew him, T-O-Dub, will never be able to be replaced, but we will do our best everyday to celebrate the time he shared with us on Earth. This is not goodbye, but see you later.
He is survived by his parents, Ron and Jean Johnson of Otsego, Minnesota; siblings, Katelyn (Michael) McStott and Tony (Stephanie) Johnson; niece and nephews, Ava McStott, Mason McStott and Godson, Zayn Johnson; grandmothers, Mary Ann Goergen and Margaret Johnson, both of Austin, Minnesota; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. Visitation will be held for two hours before the service on Friday at the church. Evan-Nordby Funeral Home of Osseo, Minnesota, is assisting the family.
