Shannin R. Morse, 48, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at Edenbrook of Rochester – Rochester, Minnesota.

Shannin Rachelle Morse was born on Dec. 11, 1970, in Brownsdale, Minnesota, the daughter of Jerry E. and Marlene R. (Schroeder) Morse. Shannin was born and raised in the Brownsdale area and was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. She attended Hayfield High School and graduated in 1989. Shannin had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to sing and write poetry. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry E. and Marlene Morse of Austin; son, Shawn Payne of Brownsdale; brother, Jerry (Gwyn) Morse of Austin; and two sisters, Kim (Mark) Peterson of Lansing, Minnesota, and Tammy Jax of Stewartville, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Morse; grandparents, Art and Julia Schroeder and Leaveta Morse; and two aunts, Carol Thompson and Diane Smith.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin with Pastor Patrick Ziems officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
