The Austin Packer dance team finished 11th out of 12 teams at the Minnesota Class AA Dance Team State Tournament jazz finals in Target Center in Minneapolis Friday.

The Packers were competing in the state jazz competition for the first time since 2009..

Austin, which has competed in 17 straight dance meets, will compete in the high kick finals at Target Center on Saturday.
