The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team handed Grand Meadow its first loss of the season as it beat the No. 2 ranked Superlarks (23-1 overall, 14-1 SEC) 50-43 in GM Friday.

Abby Bollingberg hit a big three-pointer near the end of the game for LP (18-4 overall, 11-1 SEC) and Rachel Nelsen hit a key three-pointer to give LP a big boost in the second half.

“We are so proud of our teams resiliency tonight and we are happy with how we’re playing, especially defensively,” LP head coach Anna Meyer said.

Olivia Christianson had 18 points and 12 rebounds for LP.
