Hungerholt sets career scoring mark in loss for Cardinals

LeRoy-Ostrander senior Trey Hungerholt set the career scoring mark for the Cardinals in a 70-57 loss to Randolph (23-2 overall, 14-1 SEC) on the road Friday.
Hungerholt scored 14 points to give him 1,751 career points, surpassing Chad Orum’s previous record of 1,750 career points.
Isaac Collier chipped in 16 points for LO (11-14 overall, 5-9 SEC).
“It was a tough game for us and I thought our boys stepped up to the plate,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said. “I was happy with how we played. I’m extremely excited for Isaac Collier, he played really well.”
