Hayfield girls rally past CHOF

The Hayfield girls basketball team overcame a slow start to beat Christ Household of Faith 73-54 in Hayfield Thursday.
Hayfield (16-8 overall) trailed 20-10 early on in the game, but it was able to close the first half on a 28-9 burst.
“We weren’t our aggressive selves and we were missing a lot of close shots,” Hayfield co-head coach Kasey Krekling said. “We were able to get going and we made a nice run.”
Abby Stasko had 25 points for Hayfield, which will close out the regular season when it hosts Faribault Bethlehem Academy at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
