The No. 3 Hayfield girls basketball team knocked off No. 6 Kingsland (16-10 overall) 58-49 in the Section 1A Quarterfinals in Mayo Civic Center Wednesday.

Kingsland led 49-48 when Emma Holst hit a three-pointer to put the Vikings up 51-49 with two minutes left in the game.

Abby Stasko had 15 of her 24 points in the first half for Hayfield.

The Vikings (19-8 overall) will take on No. 2 Goodhue in the Section 1A semifinals in Mayo Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
