Gene (Doc) C. Muchow, MD, 87 of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, after a long bout with interstitial lung disease.

Service: A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on March 2, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Niethammer officiating. Austin Post No. 91 American Legion and Olaf B. Damm Post No. 1216 Veterans of Foreign Wars are in charge of military rites.

Visitation: Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service on Saturday. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota at a later date. Memorials are preferred to St. Olaf Church, Mayo Clinic Hospice in Austin, Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna or to the donor’s choice.
