The National Weather Service has extended the blizzard warning from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight., as the area continues digging out this weekends massive snowstorm.

Several roads around the region remain impassable as winds remain high, gusting to 45 to 55 miles per hour. Officials are still advising no travel. As winds diminish throughout the night, the impact could still be felt into Monday morning.
