The Hayfield girls basketball team hit the boards as it was able to beat Triton 51-40 on the road Friday.

The Vikings (6-6 overall) out-rebounded the Cobras (7-7 overall) 42-16 as Rachel Pack pulled down 17 rebounds and Elecia Brown added 13 points and 13 rebounds.

“Our offense wasn’t the best, but we won it on the defensive end and on the boards,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said.
