The Austin boys hockey team lost to Rochester Mayo 7-1 in Riverside Arena Thursday.

Cal Fox scored to bring the Packers (4-14 overall, 3-10 Big Nine) 2-1 in the first period, but the Spartans (10-4-2 overall, 5-3-1 Big Nine) answered with three goals in a ten-minute stretch to grab a 5-1 lead in the second period.

Ryan Flanders stopped 48 shots for Austin, which had 17 shots on goal.
