Photos: Austin High School students hold first of two art shows of the year

More than 460 students voted on submissions, which marked an increase turnout than in years past, according to Jake Levison, an AHS art teacher. The high school holds two art shows each year.
Examples of student submissions show students had a chance to express their creativity through various modes of art, including drawing.
Ceramic pieces submitted by Austin High School students were displayed during the First Semester Art Show.
