The Southland girls basketball team lost another close contest as the Rebels fell 50-44 to Lewiston-Altura (4-5 overall, 3-3 Three Rivers) in Adams Friday.

The Rebels (1-8 overall, 1-5 Three Rivers) trailed by as many as 16 in the second half before getting within 44-42 late in the game.

Southland has lost six games by less than 10 points this season.
