Man pleads guilty to theft

Aron James Huehn, 21, of Austin pleaded guilty to felony theft- take/use/transfer movable property without consent as part of a plea agreement on Tuesday in Mower County District Court.
He initially pleaded not guilty on Aug. 20.
According to the court complaint, an officer met with a Walmart asset protection employee on Feb. 3 regarding an employee theft. She advised that Huehn had stolen items in August 2017 and had stolen approximately $1,838 worth of items since November 2017.
Surveillance footage showed Huehn committing the thefts, the complaint states.
Huehn will be sentenced on June 6.
