The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team beat Schaeffer Academy 68-62 in Rochester Tuesday.

Jed Nelson poured in 25 points for the Athletics (2-4 overall, 2-3 SEC) and Buay Koak had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Cole Walter hit six straight free throws down the stretch to put the game away for LP.

“It was a good win for us on the road,” LP head coach Scott Koenigs said. “Schaeffer is a tough place to play because that team is a bunch of gym rats and they shoot the ball really well at home.”
