Police cited four local businesses for failing alcohol compliance checks.
According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police conducted the compliance checks Thursday evening at 10 local businesses that sell alcohol. An 18-year-old female was sent into the establishments by police to order alcohol.
Barley’s Family Restaurant, El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant, Gravity Storm Brewery Cooperative, and Pizza Hut all failed the compliance checks.
Krueger indicated it was the first time each of the businesses failed an alcohol compliance check.
Bella Victoria Italian Restaurant, Cheers Liquor Store, El Patron Mexican Restaurant, George’s Pizza, Steve’s Pizza, and VFW Post 1216 all passed their alcohol compliance checks.
