Make plans to enjoy the next installment of Christmas celebrations in Austin with “Christmas in the East” today from 4-7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce.
A whole stocking-full of activities are planned:
•Eagles Club No. 703: Come make a craft and see Santa. Enjoy hot chocolate and cider.
•Emerge Fitness: Come play reindeer games.
•Hoot & Ole’s Tavern: Try to win a prize at the ball toss game, enjoy peanuts and popcorn.
•Huffman Flooring Design Center: Check out the Christmas theme photo booth and enjoy snacks.
•Jim’s MarketPlace Foods: Warm up with hot chocolate, cider and cookies.
•Star Liquor: Enjoy homemade cookies and hot chocolate with or without spirits.
•Jay C. Hormel Nature Center: Take your photo with Santa by the fireplace. Make a birdseed pine cone ornament, paint holiday nature rocks, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.
•CCI Granite: Enjoy Christmas coloring games and cookies.
•Hardy Geranium: Stop in to see Santa, make a craft, enjoy cookies, cider and s’mores over an open fire. Register for drawing.
•Kwik Trip: Stop in for cookies and hot chocolate.
