The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team won its third straight game to start the season when it topped Faribault Bethlehem Academy (1-2 overall, 0-1 Gopher) 49-42 in BP Friday.

BP (3-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher) was able to crack down on FBA’s big scoring trio of Damon Trump, Jack Clark and Griffen Malecha to keep FBA in check.

“I was really happy with our on the ball defense tonight and we had good rotation of help defense most of the time,” BP head coach Nate Piller said.
