Senior center to host blood drive on Monday

Published 4:36 pm Saturday, November 17, 2018

The Mower County Senior Center will be hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

Theres no one reason to give blood. Maybe you or a family member received blood, or you think that one day you’ll be in need of it. Maybe you think it is the right thing to do. No matter the reason your getting involved helps the Red Cross maintain a healthy and reliable blood supply.

The Red Cross is a leader in research and testing to protect the safety of the blood supply. They were among the first to develop and implement testing for many infectious diseases including HIV, hepatitis B and C viruses, West Nile virus and more recently the agent of changes disease. If you already donate blood, thank you. You are making a lifesaving contribution.
