Date set for 5-Year CIP public hearing; Hearing will discuss details of pending improvements

The Austin City Council voted to set the date for the public hearing on the Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan 2019-2023 (CIP) for Dec. 17, during its most recent regular meeting.

The CIP covers a five-year period beginning with its adoption and sets forth the estimated schedule, timing and details of upcoming capital improvements

Details include the need for the improvement, the estimated cost and the source of revenue to fund the improvements.

The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 17 during the council’s regular bi-monthly meeting, located in the City Council Chambers in the basement of City Hall.
