Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is coordinating gifts for local National Guard soldiers with a community Christmas Party for Saturday, Dec. 1, and are seeking donations.

The organization is made up of private citizens, veterans and community service representatives who regularly meet and plan to help serve military families living around the area. They create meeting and service support opportunities for service members and their families before, during and after deployments, host recreational and social events for families, military spouses and partners, education communities on the stresses and challenges faced by military families and provide services military family members may need from daycare to snow removal to household repairs to counseling.
