PRODUCTION WORKER

VENTURA FOODS, LLC has an excellent opportunity for individuals to join our operation located in the Jobs Industrial Park. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various functions in a fast-paced facility. Duties may include lifting, standing for long periods of time, operating machinery in production area. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and the ability to work overtime as needed. Forklift, sanitation experience and mechanical aptitude is a plus. Currently seeking individuals for 2nd/3rd shift. Starting salary is $ I 8.97 per hour with shift differential.

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

Job duties will include routine testing of incoming product and analysis using established methods ensuring it meets specified quality levels. Prepare labs, perform calibrations, complete and audit paperwork, and perform weight control line audits on our 2nd shift. The successful candidate must be proficient in use of MS Word and Excel; possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; and display strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, able to successfully prioritize multiple tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment. A two-year degree in food science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
