Marilyn Mae Clark, 71, of Austin, Minnesota, transcended peacefully to Heaven on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Mankato, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving family.

Marilyn Mae Clark, 71

Marilyn was born on Oct. 12, 1947, in Austin, the daughter of Fred and LaVerna (Vasey) Dennison. She was a lifelong resident of Austin and proud member of the community. In 1968, she was united in marriage to Jack Clark; even after separation they continued to care for each other as family. Marilyn was a humble, loving, and patient person who always had an open heart and arms to family of kin and beyond blood ties alike, including her adored cats (her babies). She also enjoyed putting puzzles together, appreciated the beauty of nature, and was a passionate homemaker. Marilyn is now happily beside her son, Craig Clark, who passed in 1993. Marilyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Miller-Clark and Cindy Clark-Smyth, both of Mankato; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine (Raymond) Lusby of Mesquite, Nevada; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig; six brothers; and two sisters.
