Lisa Mary Kellin, 61, of Cohasset, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Lisa was born in 1957 to Lawrence and Mary Enright in Austin, Minnesota, where she grew up and graduated from Austin Pacelli high school. She also achieved a 4-year degree from St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Michael Kellin on Jan. 27, 1979, and they made their home on Sugar Lake from July 1980 to present. Lisa was self-employed most of her working life, owning businesses with her husband including K&K farmers market in the early years and Cousins Subs. Most recently, she was the office manager at Coldwell Banker Northwoods Realty in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Lisa helped many people and performed numerous good deeds throughout her life, dedicating many years serving the community through Special Olympics, the St. Joe’s parish, and mission trips like The Moto Hope School in Kenya.
The most important memory of Lisa was the kind of person she was; beautiful, competitive and spirited, but at the same time totally loving, kind, patient, positive and supportive. We so much wanted Lisa with us longer, but God said it was time for her to come home. She cherished first and foremost family, especially her six grandchildren, and looked forward to meeting number seven any day. She also had a deep love for her youngest child, Marcus, who has special needs.
